Job Search Strategies
In today's job market, the challenge may be that there are so many places to find job postings and to post your resume. This workshop starts at the simple beginning: setting employment goals and making your job search into your current "job." We'll talk about how to organize your search and provide a few tools. We will cover the ladderlike steps of a typical job search and why each rung is equally important to your success. And then we'll discuss "targeted searches" and the strategies of company research and important changes to your cover letter and resume.

Attending this live virtual workshop will satisfy one work search action for Wisconsin Unemployment Insurance purposes in the week it has been completed. Viewing a recorded workshop is not considered a valid work search action.
Workshops are presented ONLINE through a webinar. Attendees will participate via internet access, and the ability to stream video and audio through your computer and/or phone is required to participate. No confirmation email will be sent to you. You will receive the link to the Virtual Workshop on the day of the scheduled presentation.

A follow up email containing the slides from the workshop/s that you attended and survey link will be available within 3 business days of the completion of the workshop/s that you attended.
