  Eligibility may differ by institution and will be confirmed at enrollment.

  - Be 18.5 years old OR your 9th grade class must have already graduated

  - Not be currently enrolled in high school

  - Have lived in Wisconsin for 10 days OR be a migrant worker OR be the child of a migrant worker

• Program Overview

  A General Education Development (GED) Certificate or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) is an onramp for a wide variety of careers. An orientation class/series of classes will help you identify the option that is best for you. The amount of time it takes to earn either a GED or an HSED varies based on individual needs and schedules.
