Learning English
If your native language is a language other than English, your local technical college offers courses to prepare you for college-level coursework in English. Day and night options are available and you will receive instructor and computer-assisted instruction to help you function in the community, your workplace, and higher education.
These programs are provided by the Wisconsin Technical College System.

-You are a non-native English speaker who wants to learn the language or to understand the language better
-You need help to communicate at home, at work, and in the community
-Testing and registration may be required; there may be a wait list

Want to study English? Get the help you need to learn English and succeed in school and in the community. These courses help students improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. In addition, you can get help preparing for GED, citizenship, and career programs. Learn to understand English better and to be understood.
